Exclusive Founding Partner Programme

Summit Scanner is allocating a limited number of Exclusive Founding Partner positions across selected mountain and trekking pages.

To preserve category balance, our intention is to appoint each operator as the Exclusive Partner for one mountain or route only, subject to overall demand. If application levels are sufficient, each successful applicant will be awarded partnership for one or two mountain pages.

With 86 mountains and routes currently listed on Summit Scanner, our objective is to distribute Exclusive Partner positions broadly across the platform. We therefore anticipate that the majority of qualified applicants can be accommodated within this structure.

In the event that overall demand is lower than anticipated for specific categories, we may, at our discretion, consider allocating more than two mountains or routes to a single partner.

Exclusive partnership is subject to an annual fee. Founding Partner rates are fixed for an initial two-year period and are intentionally positioned at approximately 30–40% below the standard rates that are expected to apply from Year 3 onwards. Following the Founding Period, partnerships renew annually at the prevailing standard rate, subject to review in line with platform growth and category value.

Founding Partners receive:

Entire left & right-hand column promotional space on the relevant mountain page. Identical to the unused space to the left and right extremes of this page.
Gold-highlighted listing designation (visual distinction only — listing order is not affected)
Category exclusivity (no competing premium placements on that page)
Two-year founding rate protection at preferential pricing

Positions are allocated through review and alignment. Once appointed, a Founding position for that mountain or route will not be reissued.

Application deadline: 31 August 2026. After this date, remaining availability will be reassessed and any unallocated positions may move to a standard-rate release.

If you would like to be considered for a place on the exclusive partnership programme, please contact us at info@summitscanner.com and confirm the following details

The mountain or route for which you are applying
A ranked list of your top five priority mountains or routes (in order of which you would most like to be the exclusive partner for)
A link to your website and relevant expedition pages

We will then follow up with a Partnership Programme pack outlining the full benefits of being an exclusive Summit Scanner mountain partner and confirming the Partnership fees, which vary by mountain.

For those operators that are happy to proceed, we will then evaluate all applications against the following criteria:

Pricing transparency and clarity of inclusions/exclusions
Overall website quality, structure, and user experience
Guiding credentials, expedition history, and technical experience
Demonstrated safety standards and operational procedures
Client reputation, reviews, and broader standing within the mountaineering community
Consistency, accuracy, and professionalism in published information and communications
