Other Nepal regions – FAQ
What’s the best quieter alternative to Everest Base Camp?
For a similar “big trek” feel with fewer crowds, start with Langtang Valley or Manaslu Circuit. If you want truly remote trekking, consider Makalu Base Camp or Kanchenjunga Circuit.
Which trek here is the hardest?
Dhaulagiri Circuit is typically the most committing: remote terrain, tougher logistics, and a more expedition-style feel compared to teahouse-heavy routes.
When is the best time to trek in these regions?
Autumn (September–November) is typically the most reliable trekking season. Spring (March–May) is also excellent and is often better for higher objectives and early-season climbing plans.
